Administration and Operations Executive

WCS Malaysia Program: 
Wildlife Conservation and Science (Malaysia) Bhd (WCS) was officially registered in Malaysia in 2010. With a team of over 40 staff, WCS Malaysia aims to save wildlife and wild places across Malaysia (currently the three Malaysian states of Sarawak, Johor and Pahang) through the use of science, conservation action, education and inspiring people to value nature. The current long-term focal sites are: i) the core orang-utan habitats of Batang-Ai-Lanjak-Entimau Landscape, and ii) the Tiger source site of Endau-Rompin Landscape in Johor and Pahang. In Johor, WCS Malaysia works in collaboration with government partners under the Johor Wildlife Conservation Project to protect endangered wildlife and habitats. 

Job Summary: 
The Administration and Operations Executive will support WCS Malaysia's Operations Unit in terms of procurement, recruitment, filing, IT, asset/office management and other operational tasks.

Major responsibilities:
 To assist in the procurement of assets as and when required
 To perform and maintain a proper filing system for Operations and other related work
 To maintain the upkeep of the Selangor office working with external services
 To assist the Supervisor in the attraction and recruitment of talent
 To check and update the annual leave system of the Organization
 To perform duties in administration and talent management as and when required
 To maintain stock of office supplies such as stationary, computer supplies and toiletries as and when required
 To assist the Supervisor in the maintenance of the IT Infrastructure, IT assets and its upkeep across offices
 To assist the Supervisor with the Asset Management process including the disposal of assets in the organization
 To perform duties in daily operations and safety management as required by the Supervisor and the Director
 To travel to all offices as and when required for efficient operations management
 To perform any other duties as may be required by the supervisor
 To assist and support the Director’s office as required
 To familiarize yourself with the Company’s processes and policies

Minimum Requirements: 
• Candidate will hold at least a Diploma in Administration, IT, HR and/or a Bachelor degree is an added advantage and equivalent experience in the related Job Scope
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 2 years of experience in general administration and operations have an added advantage
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point
• Prior experience in Recruitment Sites an advantage
• A valid Driver’s license
• Ability to work in a team nationally
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• A willingness to travel nationally to all project sites
• Ability to meet deadlines, organized and calm under pressure, patient and flexible
